Olive cerignola

Olive cerignola

This typical table olive is known and appreciated for its huge size. One olive can weigh up to 16 grams. It is a rather meaty fruit, thanks to its consistent pulp, harder than in other olives. It is grown in the area of Cerignola in northern Puglia, from which it takes its name.

Recommended as an aperitif or with meat or fresh cheese. Can be paired with white wine such as a Soave Veneto.
